The children have been eagerly counting down the days to Christmas and we have reached the milestone of our last school day before the holidays. Today was a busy one for the class and we covered lots of Christmas activities. We began our morning with some Christmas songs followed with a game of pass the parcel during which we worked together to complete the Christmas challenges. After that we went outside for Christmas movements while we waited for an extra special visitor! Later inside we met Santa and Mrs Claus who said that they had received our Christmas letters and that Santa hoped to visit on Christmas Eve. We all had our photos taken with Santa. Our buddies then met up with us to complete a Christmas trail in the playground using QR codes to access activities.The morning ended with some Christmas stories before we wished each other a “Happy Christmas.”
