Today Room 4 were learning about ‘the Blackout in WW2.’
We learned that during the Blitz everyone had to cover their windows at night to keep light from escaping. German bombers would be able to spot homes too easily from the sky if they were lit up.
We carried out an investigation to discover which materials would create the best black out. We tested quite a few and discovered that black card/ materials were the best and if they were layered it was even better!
