Room 1 were involved in lots of fun activities to celebrate World Book Day. We began the day talking about our costumes and our favourite characters. After this we met up with our buddies who read to us and helped with making book markers. Our numeracy lesson presented a challenge to solve the mystery of the footprints. Book characters had visited our playground leaving behind their footprints. To discover who owned these children needed to work together in pairs to match footprints for area. We had some super detectives who named the characters. In the afternoon we designed our own book covers for our favourite books.
