Active Travel

We are delighted to be an Active Travel School. This is part of a three year project delivered by Sustrans in partnership with the Department of Regional Development.

The project aims to encourage pupils and parents to travel actively to school [walking, cycling or scooting].

This year 2020/2021 we are aiming to complete our Gold Award.

The benefits of being an active school ....follow the link below....

Active School

All of our teachers and pupils have made a pledge to which we as a school want everyone to be as active as possible. That starts with active travel to and from school, wake up shake up start to the day, active lessons, daily mile, active break times and lunch times, extra curricular opportunities and an active home. We all take part in outdoor learning weekly.
