We began as usual by sharing our feelings, and then welcomed local community firefighter Stephen, who spoke to the class about fire safety and the importance of having an escape plan at home.
After reflecting on our positive affirmations from this term, we headed off to Magherafelt Library. We have really enjoyed these sessions at the library-borrowing books, exploring new stories, and discovering everything our local library has to offer.
Back at school, we spent some quiet reading time before creating Christmas cards for our shared education partner class at New Row St Patrick’s. We can’t wait to exchange these when we meet up in the coming weeks!
We finished the day with some handball fun on the court.
