Another busy week in room 1 exploring the Arctic. The children are finding out about about polar animals and learning about the Inuit way of life. Our technology challenge had the children selecting and joining materials to build sleds. We were encouraged by their creativity and independence in this task which involved lots of measuring and problem solving. This was a valuable learning experience which we will build on next week through our science and technology activities promoting British Science Week.
