The boys and girls in Room 4 loved getting outside to take part in The Big Bird Watch. We learned all about the different types of birds we can spot around our school at this time of year, and how to identify them by their physical features and bird calls.
We also made our own bird feeders to place around the school grounds, helping to support birds during the colder weather and encouraging them to visit our school. We’ll be keeping a close eye out over the next wee while to see who comes to visit!
Back in class we complete some data handling activities with the P6s joining Room 5 to learn about J2data and how to create data bases. We look forward to them sharing this new knowledge with P5 next week.
A lovely way to appreciate nature and learn about the important role we all play in supporting wildlife 🌿💚
