Big Street Survey
Today, the children in Room 5 took part in the Sustrans Big Street Survey.
As part of Road Safety Week, we explored our local area to consider how safe it is for walking, cycling and travelling. The pupils did a fantastic job spotting the safety measures already in place, as well as identifying areas where improvements could be made.
Tomorrow, the children will use Just2Easy Data to present their findings. These results will then be shared with our School Council, who will discuss them with a local councillor to explore possible ways to make our environment safer.
The class thoroughly enjoyed getting outdoors, observing real-life examples in our community, and using their voices to promote positive change. We are very proud of their thoughtful contributions and enthusiasm!
