We always like to see the link between our learning and real life especially when we can relate it to our local area. As part of our WAU topic War and conflict Room 4 have been learning about the significance of the poppy and Remembrance Day. We visited the cenotaph on Castledawson to see the names of those people in the local area who died during WW1 and 2 and all subsequent conflicts.
