P1&2 certainly had a busy fun filled Christmas week. Previous posts have shared some of the exciting things we have been doing. The children made Christmas cards and tree decorations as keepsakes. We had our Christmas party yesterday and a visit from Santa Claus. Today we made gingerbread men treats and played pass the parcel sharing the candy canes hidden inside. The J shaped candy canes were tasty but also served as a reminder that J is for Jesus and that Christmas is a time to remember the birth of Jesus. We enjoyed every aspect of this week sharing in the children’s festive cheer.
