Room 5 had a fantastic day full of festive fun as we counted down to the Christmas break! 🎄✨
The children wrapped up their STEM challenge, where they were tasked with transporting gifts (sweet treats!) on a sleigh powered by a Sphero robot. They loved researching, designing, and building their sleighs, then using block coding to make their Spheros move and change direction. There was so much critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity on display! 🤖🛷
The excitement continued in the afternoon with a Lego coding session with Roy. Once again, he was incredibly impressed by the children’s ICT skills as they successfully coded their Lego Christmas trees to spin along to music 🎶🎄
We also enjoyed some delicious toasted marshmallows, a fun game of Blooket, and to top it all off… a special visit from Santa himself! 🎅🎁
