🌍✨ European Day of Languages in Room 5 was a blast! 🇺🇦🇸🇰
We explored Ukraine and Slovakia — learning where they are in Europe, discovering fun facts, and celebrating the amazing cultures of our classmates and their families! 🎉
A huge thank you to Valeriya, one of our Room 5 parents, who treated us to some delicious homemade Ukrainian food! 🥞🇺🇦
We tried:
🍯 A sweet waffle-style treat
🧀 Pancakes with sweet cottage cheese
🥧 A yummy cottage cheese pie
...but the crepes were our favourite! 😍
We even practised saying the names of the foods and basic greetings in Ukrainian.

Then we had an amazing live session with Adobe to celebrate European Language Day! Now we're buzzing with ideas and can't wait to finish our posters inspired by our chosen European countries 🌍💬 Using all the awesome Adobe tools, they are going to be great!
