Some of our eco council travelled to Dungannon to attend a Fairtrade event with other schools.
They took part in activities which demonstrated how unfairly farmers/ workers can be treated. They planted peas and potatoes to realise how long it actually takes for crops to grow.
They also got to sample Fairtrade products!
