We had a lovely day celebrating being happy and promoting positive mental health remembering that we are loved. Our day began with a Valentine’s Trail around the school which we completed in groups taking turns to scan the QR codes for clues and record the hidden message. Together we worked out the message “GOD LOVES YOU” which we followed up by singing some bible choruses. After break we continued the Valentine theme making our own cards cutting out a variety of sizes of hearts and decorating them ensuring the whole area of the heart was covered. Children then wrote their own messages on the cards deciding who would receive them. We were all excited to share a Valentines lunch in the hall and after some outdoor play enjoyed a movie before home time.
