We used our Christmas poem to explore ordinal numbers. The children helped me write labels for each of our reindeers exploring how the ordinal numbers are written with both numbers and letters. We then took turns to play a game finding and changing places with each of the reindeers looking for the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th reindeer.
