Today was the International Day of Play. A time to celebrate the power of play and a time to raise awareness about how essential play is to every child's development and well- being.
Our topic this term is ‘Around the World’ and as part of our learning we have been exploring many different countries and researching the languages they speak, the currencies they use, their famous landmarks and their flag.
Room 3 enjoyed recreating many of the famous landmarks from all around the world this afternoon. We enjoyed building with Lego, wooden blocks and on a larger scale outside in our construction area.
Many boys and girls created their chosen landmark digitally using Minecraft and created information booklets using Book Creator.
Our children love Activity-Based Learning! We love to learn inside and outside and enjoy many practical lessons together with our peers.
