Pupils in P6 enjoyed an exciting and varied day of learning as they explored a range of subjects across the curriculum in Magherafelt High School.
- Students created colourful globes of the continents in geography using balloons to help shape their models.
- Everyone had the chance to get creative by decorating their own biscuits with icing and toppings in the Home Economics department.
- Pupils tried their hand at programming by working with robots, learning the basics of logic, problem-solving, and digital control.
- Students took part in a hands-on experiment in the science department investigating acids and alkalis, giving pupils the chance to observe reactions and learn about pH in an engaging way.
- Finally, students took part in lively debating activities, building confidence in speaking and critical thinking.
It was a fun, interactive day that gave pupils a real taste of the subjects they can look forward to studying.
