It was lovely to get outside for numeracy and to work together in teams to solve problems relating to number. We had a red team, orange team, green team and pink team all out searching for challenge cards in the playground. Each card posed a question relating to place value, a word problem, calculation or puzzle. It was great fun and really let us see how much everyone has learned in numeracy so far this year.
