Outdoor Play

10th Nov 2022

Welly Wednesday this week included  opportunities for the children to use the construction area to build something that would useful for Percy in the park,  bubble wands , parachute games, mud kitchen and squirrel nest (drey)building. This was the first week that the mud kitchen was not a hive of activity. Instead making bubble wands out of pipe cleaners was very popular and challenging. The parachute was fun and great exercise for our arm muscles. We worked together to move the parachute and changed places when our names were called after that we tried keeping squirrel on the parachute! The cooperation and enthusiasm at construction was lovely to see and the children were keen to share how they had made leaf bins to help Percy clear the leaves. We had a great morning of play developing lots of skills across the curriculum.😊
