P7 had a great day at the NBA sports event in the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. 🏀🏅Over the last number of weeks, they have enjoyed junior NBA coaching with Noel and yesterday was a festival of fun.
The children took part in a media question and answer session, where Cacie Angel got to record an interview of children pretending to be a famous player. They also took part in an NBA classroom, learning about the importance of box breathing and speaking kindly to yourself to maintain positivity. Players were put in teams of five and played numerous matches against other schools scoring a few hoops.
P7 played brilliantly and teamwork was evident throughout all their matches. Pizza was provided for lunch which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to NBA for our nets which will be put to good use. Thank you too to Noel for his coaching and this wonderful opportunity 🤩🏀
