Room 4 trip to Belfast Zoo
16th Apr 2026
Room 4 had a fantastic trip to Belfast Zoo today πΎ, where we learned more about some of the endangered animals we’ve been studying in school ππ.
We started the day with an exciting discovery session, getting the chance to touch and hold a variety of fascinating animals, including a grasshopper π¦, frog πΈ, pygmy hedgehog π¦, ball python π, and tarantula π·οΈ. We learned about where these animals come from, how they are adapted to their environments, and the special features that help protect them from predators and harm.
Afterwards, we explored the rest of the zoo—lots of steps, but lots of fun tooπ
A brilliant day spent learning and enjoying time together.
