We didn’t manage to take lots of photos this week, but here are a few snapshots from our learning over the past couple of days.
We’ve been revisiting 2D shape using a range of retrieval strategies to help us recall previous learning. We started with a brain dump on 2D shapes, which we’ll return to later to see just how much we’ve learned and to feel proud of our progress.
To support our learning, we’ve used Quizlet flashcards, worked with partners, and played a What Am I? game focusing on shape properties such as symmetry and angles. We also used the geoboard app on iPads to create and explore different shapes.
We’ve used similar strategies to revisit clauses, ready to build on this learning next week. We’re really proud of the children’s hard work and positive start to the term – especially in such a short week!😊
