Over the past few weeks, the children in Room 5 have been busy exploring acids and alkalis through a fun, hands-on science investigation. Working in groups, they tested a range of household items to discover their pH levels. There were plenty of surprised faces along the way! Using universal indicator strips, the children carefully observed the colour changes and matched them to the pH scale, enjoying the challenge of identifying the closest match. It was a great opportunity to learn through experimentation and teamwork.
