This afternoon Room 1 thought about all the different ways we connect using the internet. For most of us this is an enjoyable experience whether reading online, playing games, shopping, talking with friends and relations or listening to music. We read the online story “On the Internet” to think of the benefits.
However using the internet could make us sad if we saw something we shouldn’t see. This idea was explored using the story of “Hanni and the magic window.” Through this story we discussed what we should do if something makes us sad or worried and who we should talk to. The children then drew a picture of their safe person and added a caption to name them.
