Room 1 were thinking today about some of the signs of Autumn. We used an interactive song and short non- fiction text to think about some of the changes happening in our world. Outside we used our observational skills to find leaves of various colours and shapes. We also looked for the fruit or seeds falling from the trees. The children used their detective skills to find out which trees the seeds and fruit came from. They had fun collecting items in a basket with a partner. Inside they labelled their work and after lunch used their autumn treasure to sort.
