As part of their World Around Us learning, children engaged in hands-on enquiry by creating their own human body models. They carefully labelled the major organs, discussed their functions, and began to investigate the role of bones in supporting and protecting the body. This practical activity encouraged teamwork, questioning and the development of scientific vocabulary, and also helped to draw together their prior knowledge before delving deeper into our new topic on bones.
