Everyone in Room 5 is absolutely hooked on our new Titanic topic! 🚢
The children were introduced to the topic in a really engaging way, with each pupil receiving a boarding pass belonging to a real-life passenger from the Titanic. We discussed the different types of passengers on board and explored who the survivors were.
This sparked lots of curiosity and led us to investigate a range of sources to uncover the possible causes of the Titanic’s sinking. We’ve been asking big questions such as: Was it the ship’s design? Human error? Or something else entirely?
The class is already so enthusiastic and can’t wait to learn more as we continue this topic and begin forming our own conclusions.
